Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. The actress received critical acclaim for her role as Eleni Anderson Cooper. This was her debut television appearance on CBS' soap opera Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are some of her most acclaimed movie role. According to the reports, she's working on a project with Vlas Charley Parlapanides and Vlas who wrote Immortals on an adaptation from Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. The actress is also working on a new show called Gods & Heroes.
